Black Crest Consulting was founded by Obeyda, a sector professional whose NDIS career spans over seven years and every level of the industry. His journey is not the typical consultancy story. It did not begin in an office with a policy manual.
It began on the floor, as a support worker providing hands-on daily living assistance to young participants with disability. That frontline experience gave him something no amount of compliance training can replicate. A genuine understanding of what meaningful support looks like, and why the standards that govern it matter.
From there, Obeyda moved into office administration, learning the operational and compliance frameworks that sit behind quality service delivery. He progressed steadily through the organisation, taking on increasing responsibility until he stepped into the role of General Manager, where he led both management and support worker teams and oversaw the full scope of a registered NDIS organisation for six years.
Black Crest Consulting was founded to make that experience available to providers across Victoria who deserve better than generic, off-the-shelf compliance support.
